Hear My Prayer

I still find it amazing that the annual Clonard Novena attracts up to 15,000 worshippers every day. And there are ten sessions a day with as many as 2,000 in the congregation as early as seven a.m. It was almost comical to see the little stall we set up outside the church – my colleagues Jane Veitch, Jimmy McAleavey and I – with a banner asking people to ‘Share Your Prayer’. Thankfully many of them did. Some were heartbreaking.
